I am so proud of how far we’ve come. Huge thanks and congratulations to my most amazing publicity and marketing team at Penguin for their UNBELIEVABLE round-the-clock 7 days a week hard work, and of course my publisher Nora who first read the MS. Thanks to Singapore Book Awards for recognising this marketing feat, and everyone who had been a part of it: my dear 50-strong international Street Team, bookstagrammers, TikTokers, YouTubers, venues, reviewers, booksellers, drivers, my tea wallahs, readers… that’s you! So I urge all publishers to invest as much as you can in marketing…”
